The objective of the Social Justice Advocacy Council is to celebrate diversity of identity, broaden cultural understanding, encourage unity, empower marginalized and underrepresented groups, educate about identity related issues, and promote intercultural interactions between all communities of people at UAB. 

The Social Justice Advocacy Council is an organization that provides a platform to empower marginalized communities and identity based registered student organizations through engaging educational and inclusive events.
