Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad at UAB seeks to spark and foster scientific interests in local school students, motivate them to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in higher education, and become the next generation of scientific professionals contributing to Birmingham’s economy. Additionally, Science Olympiad at UAB hopes to attract and recruit outstanding students to the University by bringing these students on campus and exposing them to the fantastic opportunities offered at UAB. Science Olympiad at UAB hosts an annual regional Science Olympiad tournament, challenging them in a variety of STEM competitions hosted on the UAB campus.
