The Rocketry Club at UAB is designed to give its members the opportunity to build high-powered student-developed rockets through participation in both local events and national rocketry competitions such as NASA Student Launch.

As a technical team, we aim to serve active undergraduate and graduate students from any discipline or major (engineering, physics, chemistry, business, communications, art, etc.) with an interest in rocketry. Through this club students will be given the opportunity to excel and meet new people while working on projects that are unique and innovative in the scientific community.

We also aim to engage in local outreach events to help develop a love of science and rocketry in the next generation.
