About this Group
Operation Wipe Out at UAB is a student-led public health initiative committed to eliminating cervical cancer in UAB and Alabama, which is part of a broader statewide plan. The organization promotes HPV vaccination, cervical screenings, and follow-up care through health education, service, and advocacy.
Activities have included awareness tabling events, card-making drives for patients, and collaborations with healthcare professionals to advance prevention efforts with seminars and vaccination drives. Students across disciplines—medicine, public health, and the arts—have contributed to creative outreach and education.
Join Operation Wipe Out in bringing education, building lasting partnerships with clinics and campus groups, and leading workshops that empower students to become powerful advocates for equitable women’s health.
