Hearts for the Homeless Birmingham seeks to contribute to the health and well-being of one of the most vulnerable populations in our nation through free blood pressure screenings, education, and outreach opportunities for students who wish to contribute to our effort.

Hearts for the Homeless (H4H) Birmingham serves to provide UAB students with a unique volunteering experience. Its mission aims to enlighten and impassion students that volunteer their help and skills for a greater cause. Furthermore, it works to help the homeless community in Birmingham by providing free blood pressure screenings and creating caring interactions between volunteers, homeless individuals, and all of those in the community. Hearts for the Homeless Birmingham plans to work with other non-profit organizations, veterans’ organizations, health care clinics, and medical professionals to enhance the effectiveness of this registered student organization. This organization aspires to help shape and mold the minds of our members into knowledgeable, compassionate leaders.
