Provost Pam Benoit invites you to attend the "Welcome to UAB” event for new faculty on Thursday, August 18th, from 1-3 PM, in person at the UAB CTL and online via Zoom.
Dr. Benoit will begin by welcoming participants, and then professionals in the Provost’s office will introduce you to many campus resources available to UAB faculty. There will also be time for questions. After the program, there will be a reception during which you can meet representatives from organizations across campus committed to your success at UAB.
In-person attendance is limited to the first 75 faculty who register. The program will also be broadcast live via zoom for those who cannot attend in person (Zoom Link will be posted on this calendar listing).

This event takes place at the UAB Center for Teaching and Learning, 4th-floor atrium of Lister Hill Library. Faculty must scan their OneCard to enter the library as well as in the elevators to access the 4th floor.
