Voting in 2022 and the Future of Democracy in the United States

The Brown Bag: Lecture Series is hosted by the UAB African American Studies Program. The series explores and addresses the various issues related to the Black Diaspora. Each month, faculty and scholars will be invited to facilitate conversations on the diaspora and its relevance to contemporary issues.

The African Studies Program will continue its Brown Bag Lecture Series with Dr. Charmane Perry who will discuss The Genocide of Haitians in the Dominican Republic in 1937.
