Virtual Support Group: Navigating Mental Health Stigma
About this Event
Join the virtual support group, Navigating Mental Health Stigma, a discussion-based support group dedicated to helping individuals overcome the challenges posed by mental health stigma. In many communities, misunderstandings and discrimination surrounding mental health issues persist, making it difficult for individuals to seek help and support. This group offers a safe and non-judgmental space for participants to share their experiences, gain knowledge, and develop strategies for navigating and combating mental health stigma within their communities.
Students must register for the group through the secure Kaya Care platform. You may register for as many group sessions as you would like. Participation is free and confidential. This virtual group series is offered through a partnership with Kaya and is facilitated by a licensed mental health professional and designed to inspire interaction, collaboration, and sharing of experiences.
