Using “honest broker” Epic MyChart, Direct Email, and Postal Mail to Support Participant Recruitment for Sensitive Adult and Youth Study Populations
About this Event
Katherine Connors, MPH & Andrea Bolanos, MPH
This presentation will review honest broker Epic MyChart recruitment for several “sensitive” studies, such as those focused on reducing drinking for those with Alcohol Use Disorder, novel treatments for depression and OCD, and suicide prevention. As an example, for a study using a telehealth app to reduce drinking, Epic MyChart outreach was responsible for enrolling 55 of total 118. Other strategies included social media, and the Stanford Research Registry, among others.
