Susan MacDonald, MD is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Urology at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with an undergraduate degree specializing in Biochemistry and Music from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, Georgia. She went on to complete her medical degree at the University of Florida in her home state. Dr. MacDonald then completed her Urologic residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. After completing her Urologic residency, she pursued a fellowship at Wake Forest University in reconstructive urology learning specialized techniques in urethral reconstruction, prosthetic urology, graft and flap creation, and microsurgical dissection.

In addition to her work in reconstructive urology, Dr. MacDonald treats a wide variety of men's health issues ranging from infertility to erectile dysfunction and Peyronie's disease to voiding dysfunction. She restores quality of life through latest in advanced surgical techniques.  

Dr. MacDonald also takes a strong interest in global health. She has organized and traveled with medical outreach trips to Mexico as a medical student. Now as a reconstructive surgeon, she has traveled to India multiple times with a team of surgeons to provide complex urethral repair for those in need.
