Tonto National Forest Trip

Join URec for a week of backpacking in the Tonto National Forest outside of Phoenix, AZ. Admire the Sonoran Desert cacti and flat lands that slowly give way to the highlands of the Mogollon Rim. You will have the opportunity to experience this totally different environment and spend your nights under the clear skies of the Sonoran Desert, accompanied by two guides who will help you prepare your meals and guide you through the desert! You will also have the opportunity to visit a cliff dwelling at Tonto National Monument! 

Mandatory pre-trip meeting is Monday, February 27th at 6:00 PM at the University Rental Center located at the back of the Campus Rec Center.
