Chemical Security: Low Probability, High Consequence Events

This webinar is part of the UAB Research Center of Excellence in Arsenicals Grand Rounds. The goal of the Center is to develop mechanism-based highly efficacious medical countermeasures against arsenical chemical warfare agents.

Dr. Andrew Nelson, Senior Member of the Technical Staff in the Global Chemical and Biological Security Group at Sandia National Laboratories, will be presenting. This Grand Rounds seminar will provide participants an understanding of the difference between chemical safety and security, how to identify the types of chemical weapons and chemicals of concerns, and provide an understanding of the range of chemical security threats.
