UAB Piano Day

UAB Piano Day for pre-college students will consist of two parts. 

  • Master-class with Dr. Yakov Kasman, Distinguished Professor of Piano/Artist-in-Residence at UAB. 

    Pre-college students of intermediate and advanced leverls are invited to participate. They can play any classical piece of their choice. Master-class will start at 10:00 am. 
     
  • Polyphonic Music Festival "Bach and Friends." 

    Pre-college students of any age and level are invited to participate. They can perform a polyphonic piece of any level of difficulty ranging from Bach's little Minuets to Shostakovich' Preludes and Fugues and beyond. The festival will start at 2:00 pm.
