 e Becker. Health information is vital to our daily lives. With the rise of
  social media and the deluge of internet sites dedicated to "healthy livin
 g" how do you know where to turn for information that is accessible *AND* 
 medically sound? In this presentation we will discuss valuable sources for
  reliable information and ways you can evaluate (and help others do so as 
 well) what's "good for you" and what's not.\n\nRegistration is strongly en
 couraged for in-person attendance so that we can notify participants of an
 y unexpected schedule changes and ensure that we have the correct amount o
 f food if a meal is provided. UAB faculty are always welcome to show up to
  in-person CTL events without registering. However\, if you do attend with
 out registering\, we ask that if food is being served\, you wait until all
  pre-registered participants have gotten their food before serving yoursel
 f.
