UAB Libraries: Foundational Research Skills for the Core

Presented by Victoria Dawkins. This workshop will identify and describe the research basics for most UAB students. We’ll discuss search skills that can be transferred to most databases despite varying subject areas, and how students can tell the difference between appropriate or inappropriate research. We’ll discuss ways to supplement their research skills and where those materials can be found.
