Comprehensive Cardiovascular Center 8th Annual Symposium

New Horizons in Cardiovascular Disease: A Focus on Precision and Personalized Medicine. 

This meeting is designed to provide scientists and clinicians with the most current information concerning recent advances in clinical care and applied research in the field of cardiovascular disease.

After attending this symposium, participants should be able to:

1) Discuss new therapies and interventions to prevent or treat cardiovascular disease.

2) Highlight novel research about the underlying mechanisms of cardiovascular disease.

3) Bring together basic scientists, physician-scientists, and clinicians to facilitate communication and collaboration in this field.

The University of Alabama School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
