Exploring the Field of Child Life

UAB Arts in Medicine Presents Virtual Mental Health Monday.

Certified Child Life Specialists (CCLS) often work in hospitals and support pediatric patients and their families during life's most difficult moments. In this VMHM we will talk with CCLSs and learn about this important, evidence-based field that uses play-based techniques to positively impact patient outcomes.

  • Jennifer Conway, CCLS, Director of Family Services at Children's of Alabama

  • Kassidy Narber, CCLS
