UAB Title IX Pregnancy and Parenting Lunch and Learn

The Title IX Office invites students and staff to attend the 2025 Pregnancy and Parenting Lunch and Learn.
Lunch will be provided.
Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to request academic support for students and lactation support for staff here at UAB. At the conclusion of the presentation portion, students and staff will have the opportunity to attend the resource fair where on/off campus resources will be available to share their services provided.
This lunch and learn will cover the following topics:
- UAB Policies & Federal Protections
- Registering for pregnancy-related modifications provided by Title IX
- Receiving accommodation request
- Appropriate conversations with instructors and supervisors
- Lactation resources
- Off/On Campus Resources for pregnant and parenting students/staff
To assist us with the headcount for lunch, you are encouraged to register in advance.
