Join us for Journaling for Anxiety, a calming and insightful session designed to help you pause, reflect, and regain clarity. Together, we'll explore how stress impacts our mental well-being and how journaling can gently slow the spiral of anxious thinking.
Led by Alison Kniseley, Learning and Development Specialist, and featuring guest expert Heather Clark, PhD, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, this session offers practical, research-informed strategies to help you reduce overwhelm through journaling.
You'll also be guided through journaling exercises by Salaam Green, award-winning writing coach and UAB Artist in Residence.
Learning Outcomes
1) Identify effects of stress on mental well-being.
2) Practice journaling techniques to manage anxiety.
3) Apply research-informed strategies for reducing overwhelm.
