Join us for an engaging, week-long program tailored for healthcare executives eager to advance safety and reliability in their organizations. This interactive course offers hands-on simulations and expert-led sessions to explore High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles and their impact on safety, quality, and operational outcomes. Participants will dive into human performance fundamentals and evidence-based tools for fostering a culture of safety.

The program emphasizes practical learning through dynamic simulation and real-world application, focusing on leadership practices, harm awareness, and operational strategies. Attendees will interact with industry experts to master techniques for integrating safety into organizational culture, enhancing patient and workforce experience, and promoting health equity. 

This program is offered as a collaboration between the UAB Center for Healthcare Management and Leadership and Press Ganey.

In support of improving patient care, Press Ganey is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Press Ganey is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Press Ganey maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive continuing education credits.

Learners will earn or renew up to 26 credits upon completion of this course.
