Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation: Exploring Policy and Practice Innovations for Addressing Racism as a Public Health Crisis

About this Event
Dr. Gail C. Christopher, D.N., Executive Director of the National Collaborative for Health Equity, will explore the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) framework and related efforts that are being implemented in jurisdictions and on college campuses across the US. She will discuss efforts to work with local jurisdictions that have declared racism a public health crisis to create a peer learning environment and offer specific policy recommendations, as curated in the Healing Through Policy briefs.
These briefs are available on the websites of three organizations: American Public Health Association, de Beaumont Foundation, and National Collaborative for Health Equity.
