Have you completed UAB's Respect EDU Title IX training? Celebrate your completion with us and enjoy free food and swag!

The Respect EDU Title IX training will appear in your Canvas Dashboard. Training enrollment will open as follows:

• August 17: The training will open for new undergraduate students. Completion is required for new undergraduate students, including transfer students and students admitted during the summer.
• September 2: The training opens for all remaining students, including new and returning graduate students, INTO students, and returning undergraduate students. Completion is optional, but all students are strongly encouraged to complete the training.

All students who complete the Respect EDU Title IX training are eligible for free swag.

Students who complete the training by September 2 are also invited to attend the Respect EDU Pop-Up Party in the Hill Student Center Performance Lounge on Wednesday, September 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for free food, swag, and an opportunity to connect with the Title IX team (You must complete the training to participate in the Pop-Up Party and receive swag). 

The Respect EDU training covers consent, healthy relationships, support resources, and bystander intervention to help create a safer and more respectful UAB community.

Can't make it to the Pop-Up Party?

Students who complete the training after September 2 can still receive swag. Additional pickup opportunities will be announced through Canvas. The Title IX Office will be tabling throughout the semester in the Hill Student Center.
