BPDA Presents: The Macro Impact of Microaggressions in Academia

This is a past event.

Microaggressions are common in academia. In particular, Persons Excluded from science because of Ethnicity and Race (PEERs) suffer from discriminative behaviour. This often leads to decreased academic performance as well as increased stress levels. Come out an join the BPDA as guest speakers Christopher Jones - Vice President of UAB Office of DEI and Michelle Horvath - University Ombudsperson talk about "The Macro Impact of Microaggressions in Academia."
