Dr. Burel Goodin is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Co-Director of the Center for Addiction & Pain Prevention & Intervention (CAPPI) at UAB.  In his Biobehavioral Pain Research Laboratory, he utilizes a social neuroscience framework to help guide our understanding of the mechanisms that drive pain disparities.
