The Black Experience: Hey Sis Hey & Fellas Let's Go There
About this Event
Being a black student on a predominantly white campus is complex and can bring up issues of stigma, identity, and connection. We want to have intentional conversations about these topics and discuss their impact on our community.
This group provides a safe space for students who identify as black to converse about their own lived experiences within their community and among their family. Topics this semester will be "The Talk," The Black Vote, and Racialized Subliminal Messaging.
