About this Event
1400 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35233
Dr. Daryl Davis has received numerous awards and high acclaim for his book, Klan-Destine Relationships, and his award-winning film documentary, Accidental Courtesy. Dr. Davis is the first Black author to write a book on the Ku Klux Klan based on in-person interviews and personal encounters. His ability to get Ku Klux members to renounce their ideology has sent him traveling all over the United States and the world to share his methodology.
During this event, Dr. Davis will share insights about his life and the many experiences he has had to help transform Ku Klux members into renouncing their affiliation. He will be joined by Tamara Meyer, author, lecturer, and media consultant, and Arno Michaelis, an author, spokesperson, and former leader of a worldwide organization.
