Teaching Writing: Planning Productive Peer Reviews

This is a past event.

Presented by Jaci Wells. In this workshop, participants will learn strategies for assigning peer reviews that are productive for both the reviewer and the writer. The presenter draws on writing center pedagogy to offer advice for guiding peer review sessions.

Registration is strongly encouraged for in-person attendance so that we can notify participants of any unexpected schedule changes and ensure that we have the correct amount of food if a meal is provided. UAB faculty are always welcome to show up to in-person CTL events without registering. However, if you do attend without registering, we ask that if food is being served, you wait until all pre-registered participants have gotten their food before serving yourself.
