Teaching Effectiveness: How Students Learn

This is a past event.

Presented by Scott Phillips. As faculty we often focus on what and how we teach our students, but we rarely consider how students actually learn. In this workshop, Dr. Phillips outlines and demystifies the science of learning in clear and helpful ways that will impact the way you teach.

Registration is required for in-person attendance. You are always welcome to show up to CTL events without registering, but we ask that if food is being served at an in-person event, you wait until all pre-registered attendees have been served before serving yourself.

*Lunch will be served at this event. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or if your schedule changes and you are unable to attend.
