Talking Circle for National Eating Disorders Awareness Week
About this Event
Today’s college students have grown up with social media, for better or for worse. While platforms like Instagram and TikTok can be a source of good, they can also cause us to go down a rabbit hole of comparison and serve us content that fuels our anxiety, body image concerns and fixation on our weight and eating habits.
Join us for an open dialogue amongst your peers about how social media makes us feel about ourselves and get advice from a body image expert from The Renfrew Center on how to stop “doing it for the ‘Gram” and start living your life on your own terms.
