This seminar is part of the UAB Research Center of Excellence in Arsenicals Grand Rounds. The goal of the Center is to develop mechanism-based highly efficacious medical countermeasures against arsenical chemical warfare agents. Dr. Livia Veress is a Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver in Pediatric Pulmonology and Director of the Center for Advanced Drug Development. She will be presenting on sulfur mustard inhalation injury therapeutics evaluation and drug development – the BARDA experience.
