Join us for a VMHM event featuring a conversation with community cast members of an upcoming storytelling and movement performance, created by renowned choreographer and director Suzanne Costello as part of the Disability Arts Festival. This project, inspired by a writing program for people with spinal cord injuries, includes participants from across the country. Based on the cast members’ personal stories, they will discuss their experiences from crafting their narratives through the rehearsal process. Discover the transformative power of storytelling as the cast members share insights into their creative process. The culminating performances will take place in Birmingham in May at the Lakeshore Foundation and the Alys Stephens Center.
