Stargazing with UAB Astronomy Club

https://www.uab.edu/aeiva/exhibitions/vlmJoin AEIVA and the UAB Astronomy Club for a night of stargazing in conjunction with Virginia L. Montgomery’s exhibition Blue Moon Cocoon, on view at AEIVA from January 15–March 21, 2026.
Meet at AEIVA at 5:30pm to view the exhibition, then hear from Michelle Wooten, Assistant Professor of Astronomy Education and Campus SHINE Lab Director before walking over to the Campus Green to explore the night sky through telescopes.
This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be served.
