The Sounds New and Mid-South Chapters of the National Association of Composers, USA will present a concert of new acoustic and electronic compositions by its members in UAB’s Hulsey Recital.
The program will include “Jorge Peixinho - In Memoriam” for solo guitar by Pedro Lopes Baptista; a work for piano and electronics by David Peoples titled “Subversive Triggers;” “Nattmara” for clarinet and sound file by Lori Ardovino; “Hit and Run” for trumpet and sound file by UAB Professor of Music William Price; two piano pieces by Mississippi composer Hannah Heaton Adhikari; and “Night Songs” for soprano, clarinet, and guitar by University of Montevallo guitarist Alan Goldspiel.
