SOPH Alumni Special Topics: Exploring Public Health Careers in the Pharmaceutical Industry
About this Event
1665 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35233
Join us for a lunchtime seminar on Wednesday, March 25th, as we hear from three UAB School of Public Health alumni about their career experiences in the pharmaceutical space: Jim Alexander, M.D., MPH ('87); Joel Dobbs, PharmD, MPH ('82); and Kayvon Modjarrad, M.D., Ph.D. ('04), MSPH ('04). We'll learn how they've used their degrees in public health, working for large and small companies, serving in various leadership roles, and generally bridging the gap between pharmacology and epidemiology.
Lunch will be provided; registration required.
