Join us for our first Social Justice Cafe of the academic year, which will provide an update on current human rights issues in 2026. Speakers include Dr. Robert Blanton, Chair and Professor in the Department of Political Science & Public Administration; Dr. Tina Kempin Reuter, Director of the Institute for Human Rights, and Professor in the Departments of Political Science & Public Administration and Anthropology; and Dr. Claire Greenstein, Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science & Public Administration.

Activities Statement: The purpose of all UAB Institute for Human Rights (IHR) programs, activities, and endeavors is to foster collaboration, scholarly exchange, and academic learning related to human rights.
