https://sites.uab.edu/cedd/events/annual-symposium/The 2024 Simpson-Ramsey Neurodevelopment Symposium will highlight translational research in developmental disabilities across the lifespan and from a multidisciplinary perspective. This is a free, full-day CME event with an agenda highlighting local and national speakers as well as current and former trainees. Speakers include John Foxe, PhD (Department of Neuroscience, University of Rochester), Julie Preskitt, MSOT, MPH, PhD (UAB School of Public Health), Leondra Godoy, PhD (George Washington University) and Yetta Myrick (DC Autism Parents), and Madeline Eckenrode, MD and Betsy Hopson, MSHA (UAB STEP Clinic). The Symposium is hosted by the UAB Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities with support from the Civitan International Research Center (CIRC), and UAB Department of Pediatrics, Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
