This partnership with the Birmingham Zoo brings together science and art in an engaging series held every Tuesday in August. Inspired by artist Erin Jane Nelson’s exhibition, Living and Working, on view in AEIVA’s galleries, explore the intersection of art and science with hands-on activities that showcase how combining two disciplines can help us look at our surroundings in new ways.
This program is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
Program Schedule
- 5:00 PM: Galleries open late
- 5:30 PM: Meet & Greet with the Birmingham Zoo with light refreshments
- 6:00 PM: Presentation from the Birmingham Zoo
- 6:30 PM: Artmaking activity
