https://www.uab.edu/soph/home/researchThe School of Public Health Office of Research will host a workshop specifically tailored for Early Career faculty that hold a primary appointment in the School of Public Health to facilitate submission of competitive grant applications. This workshop will discuss an overview of the NIH grants process, which includes planning, applying, writing, and submitting the award. As well as an overview of UAB’s Office of Sponsored Programs, receipt and referral of the award, peer review process, notice of award, and post-award monitoring and reporting. Other topics to discuss include professional development related to research and other resources available for research and career growth.
