DESCRIPTION:The SafeZone program offers LGBTQ (Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual\, T
 ransgender\, and Queer/Questioning) awareness training for all UAB faculty
  and staff. Participants will learn about identities\, terminology\, conce
 pts of gender and sexuality\, and ways to create a welcoming and inclusive
  campus. Participants may elect to receive a SafeZone trained sticker to c
 ommunicate their LGBTQ friendliness\, although this is not a requirement o
 f the session.\n\nDiversity Education courses will be offered as webinars 
 via Zoom Meeting. Registration is required through Campus LMS. Registratio
 n will help us assess interest in the Diversity Education curriculum durin
 g this time and apply individual credit for the course.
