About this Event
1400 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35233
Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, mobilizing the necessary resources to end hunger by 2030. This event gives volunteers hands-on experience in leadership development, team-building, relationship-building, creative problem-solving, goal-setting and achievement.
UAB students, faculty and staff are being called to help achieve the goal of packaging 15,984 nutritious meals to be shipped to countries that are suffering from food insecurity across the globe. Student Involvement and Leadership is asking a minimum of 200 volunteers to register for the event. If you or your organization are interested in volunteering, please register for an available shift via BlazerPulse.
