About this Event
UAB IT Research Computing has scheduled a virtual training session to help researchers effectively use the high-performance computing resources on campus.
In this session, we'll be discussing the basics of package management with commonly used software:
- Lmod
- Virtualenv
- Anaconda
- R/ RStudio
We will also briefly discuss how to get the best efficiency from your support requests.
To get the most out of this session please do the following:
- Remember to bring a laptop to make the most of your time.
- Request an HPC account if you do not have one!
