UAB's annual Recstravaganza is University Recreation's biggest event of the year! Get ready for an unforgettable evening packed with fun, fitness, and family-friendly activities. There's something for everyone:
- 🕺 Dance Fitness Sessions
- 🧗 Climbing Wall Challenges
- 🎮 Mario Kart Showdowns
- 📸 Photo Booth Fun
- 🎲 Games Galore
And don’t miss the highlight of the night—the 4th Annual Rubber Duck Race in the Leisure River, starting at 7:45pm. Student organizations, families, and departments are invited to “adopt” a duck and cheer it on to victory. If your group signed up last year, we’d love to welcome you back to compete again!
Duck Race Details:
- 🦆 Register your duck by October 1
- 🕓 Arrive at the Campus Recreation Center Pool Area by 7:40pm
- 👥 At least one representative must be present (bring your whole crew to cheer!)
- 🎁 Prizes for the winning duck and a group photo for all finalists!
Official Race Rules:
- Ducks are on their own once launched—except if they get stuck, URec staff may assist.
- Judges’ decisions are final.
- Winners will be announced at the end of the race.
Come for the games, stay for the race, and leave with memories!
