QPR Suicide Gatekeeper Training for Students

About this Event
September is Suicide Prevention Month. The QPR Suicide Gatekeeper workshop teaches you how to have a conversation and help someone you are concerned may be considering suicide.
Using the technique of Question, Persuade, and Refer, participants will learn to recognize signs of concern, how to ask someone if they are considering suicide, and how to help connect them resources for support.
The workshop is open to all students and participants will receive a certificate of completion. This workshop is facilitated by certified QPR trainers who are counselors in Student Counseling Services.
