Psychological Safety refers to a shared team belief that it’s safe to take interpersonal risks by speaking up, sharing ideas, expressing concerns, and admitting mistakes without fear of punishment, ridicule, or negative consequences to one’s self-image, status, or career. When it is present, team members feel respect and acceptance and the environment is one that fosters collaboration, innovation, and high performance.   

For the best participant experience, managers and their direct reports should attend different sessions.
