The Program in Immunology was created to enhance the wide distribution of immunology-related research at UAB. The goal of this trans-departmental program is to enhance communication among faculty in order to identify and stimulate additional synergies across campus. The weekly Program in Immunology seminar series is one of the means by which this goal is achieved by UAB immunologists from multiple departments at UAB.
