The poppy has been a symbol of remembrance and hope, worn to honor service men and women who have fought and died for their country, for more than a century. This Veterans Day, stop by the AWARE Disability Management Program's Pop-Up Poppy Stop to get a free poppy pin to wear in honor of the blood shed and sacrifices made by our veterans and armed forces. 

The Pop-Up Poppy Stop will be set up from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Administration Building lobby, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the UAB Police Department lobby, and from 3 to 4 p.m. outside of the Facilities Building. A limited number of pins are available.
