https://www.uab.edu/awareThe AWARE Disability Management Program’s Pop-Up Poppy Stop returns on November 10 to share the origins of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance and hope, worn to honor service men and women who have fought and died for their country for more than a century. Stop by one of three pop-up locations to get a free poppy pin you can wear to pay tribute to those who served.
The Pop-Up Poppy Stop will be set up from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Administration Building Lobby, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the 801 Building Lobby, and from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Spain Rehab Center. A limited number of pins are available.
