UAB URec has partnered up with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to provide you with one of the top, nationally recognized Personal Training Certifications. The course will be led by a certified instructor and be available in both in-person and virtual instruction formats going over lecture and practical practices to prepare you for the exam and working with real clients. This will be a 10-week course running from September 6 – November 10, twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm – 7pm.
This course is normally priced at $1,500, but due to our exclusive partnership with NASM, UAB students and UAB URec members have access to discounted pricing.

- Chapter Online Modules
- Quizzes and reviews of each chapter
- NASM Certified Personal Trainer pre-test
