Public Health and Community Nutrition 

This continuing education session is hosted by the UAB’s Maternal Child Health Nutrition training program called, Leadership Education in Pediatric Nutrition (LEPN) which is in the Division of Adolescent Medicine of the Department of Pediatrics at UAB. The purpose of this series is to improve the nutritional status of children and adolescents by updating pediatric health professionals in clinical nutrition, community nutrition and nutrition needs of the pediatric population. The series is designed for dietitians, diet technicians, and other health care professionals who are interested in learning about nutrition for children and adolescents.

Because of travel restrictions, this will be a virtual conference series offered on three consecutive Wednesdays. 

12 hours of CPE have been applied for through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. CPE certificate will be available to download at the end of each day.
