Come learn how to design, manufacture, and assemble your own custom PCB board.

This event a three-day event using Altium to for the purpose of professional PCB development. Students may purchase a PCB kit from the student org for $25 dollars to solder and take home. This is not mandatory for participation in the design aspect. The kit will include the PCB and components to assemble a complete PCB. Soldering stations and solder will be provided to students, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment.

All software used for the workshop is available for free to UAB students.

Safety training is required for the soldering, and resources will be provided to acquire the appropriate training for the third day. This training is free of charge.

A detailed document will be provided to the students at least one week before the first day. It will contain links to the necessary software, instructions on how to register for a free student license, lab safety training for the solder portion (should you choose to participate), and a detailed guide to what will be covered on each day.
